Default 98 integra turn signal problems

Ok guys I just got this car. HE said that the signals would sometimes blow the fuse. I trusted he lied. It goes on and on. Anyway heres the deal the car is blowing the turn signal fuse as soon as the ingnition switch is turned forward. What all is on that fuse just signals? Any idea on where to start trying to diagnose the problem?

Sounds like a bare wire somewhere. Might also want to check all yr signal bulbs. Could b a bad bulb 2.

my car was doing the same thing yours is (well it sounds like..)
the front would only work, never the rear. and it wouldnt light up in the cluster (right one)

anyways, my mechanic (i do not do wiring, AT ALL lol) went to the junkyard n got me a new fusebox, n re-wired everything, replaced the fuse n now it works perfect

so i would suggest it's the actual fusebox

neither front or rear signal will work... it blows the fuse as soon as the ignition switch is turned on.

maybe you have a short to ground.try getting a wire diagram on your bumper signal and follow the wires to your fuse box.

I would start with the emergency flasher at the dash.

I replaced it already. That was the first thing I tried. Its also when I noticed it was blowing the fuse as soon as the switch was turned forward.

For some reason I never really thought of a haynes manual.
