Replacing Alternator on D series. need help

Default Replacing Alternator on D series. need help

my alternator took a **** on me today and i got everything i need to get off but the bolt that connects the alternator to the bracket

i cant seem to get it out, one side has a nut and the other side has a square lookin thing, i took off the nut but dont know how to take the bolt out

You just pound it out.

Nothing is holding the bolt once the nut is off.

The bolt has a square head to keep it from turning while you tighten the nut. Don't lose it.

its seems as if that bolt is seized on there because i smashed the **** out of it and it hasnt budge at all..
