Default toggle switch and fuel pump? headlight wires?

ok. I have a 92 civic hb. Fully built and all stripped out. Im going to be working on the eletrical now. Can i disconnect the fuel pump wire leading to the main relay and hook up the new fuel pump to a toggle switch so i can do it manual? I want to put a thicker guage wire.

thanks..

My turn signals and head lights will also be on toggle switches. The little box that is grounded by the headlights in front. Im not sure the name. But what else is grounded off of that little box? Im trying to get rid of the wiring.

thanks for any help...

There are a couple civic FSMs out there with wiring diagrams, so having that on hand will help out a lot (PDFtown.com). As far as the relay goes, i'm pretty sure its just a toggle switch itself, so if you circumvent it, there shouldn't be any problems there.
