Default AEM FPR/Rail with VictorX manifold.. problem

Ok im simply wondering is it bad to mount a FPR upside down? Im kinda in a bind right now, I dont know what options I have..

I took out the straight piece and found a 45 that screwed into the aem reg.. it just barely clears but it worked just fine. If I can find the receipt I can get you the part number, but I know I got it from Summitt.

Here is what it looked like... you could get one with a barb fitting instead.

ran into the same problem with my venom intake, edelbrock makes a fuel rail that mounts the regulator on the end of the rail

you can mount a banjo style fitting into the bottom of the regulator.

or you can get the fuel rail adapter from jackson racing, which mounts the FPR about 45 deg. differant,

i had this problam with my venom im / stock rail / aem fpr,

i used a 45deg off the reg and then a earls streight -6 or -8 fitting,

Golden eagle makes a 90 degree fitting for the fuel rail. I personally used one and thought it looked like ****. The best thing to do is use a banjo fitting on the bottom on the FPR instead of a straight.

Its like that, but they come in alum, black etc.. i think the ones i had were Aeromotive

i would just use a banjo bolt or the -an fitting, cleaner install IMO....probaly a few bucks cheaper also

x2, like i posted above.


For those of you telling him to use a 45degree, it dosent work with the AEM rail.
