Default 99 b16 swap to a 95 Eg LAGGING major power from mid range to high RPM

i just swaped my car earlier this week, and everything is working fine but there seems to be a major power loss when vetch engage. the vtech is working fine, clutch grabs fine, i even drove it out of state and i work fine, but it doesnt seems like it at it full potential. is currently using the gsr engine harness.

when i did the ecu check, it throws out the code 10. that is the intake senors code but all the plugs are connected. i tried mabe all the ecu you could think of from p28, p72, p13, b17 ecu, ecept the b16 ecu since it obd 2.

i got the same set up on my eg. and i also had code 10 for the longest i tried switching the ecu but it didn't work.

It ended up being that the sensor was bad. but i really doubt this would cause your problem.

have you tried checking your spark plugs to see if they are gaped correctly or if they are worn out? also when was the last time you change your fuel filter?

b 4 this swap i had a GSR in it and it worked perfectly fine until i spun a bearing. then i got this swap maybe it could be that or something clog in my motor that it is preventing it to run it full potential.

check your spark plugs, then go from there. have you also check to see if your valve lash is within the correct specs?

yeah new spark plugs. i havn't check the lash since i havent had time too. but when i first swaped everything seems to be strong but with hours of driving it, all the power dissapeared.

i dont know whats wrong but you did say that you had a gsr before this. a b16 is much slower than a gsr. maybe thats why it doesnt feel as strong as before because you had a gsr.

also, when the CEL is on, your motor is not running at its full potential. like its on "safe mode".
