I'm going to be ordering the 3" vrs exhuast tubing kit, and i'd like to get the quietest setup as possible. Its going to be n/a for the first few hundred/thousand miles but then i'm going to put the turbo kit back on.

What do you guys recommend for a cat, muffler? Should i just get the longest 3" resonator i can find?

Also what size is the standard oval muffler for a crx? Is it 5x8? And which offset should i look for?

 

resonator and a magnaflow turbo muffler? i had that set up on my old 91 db with my B16 (ooooo haha) and it was quiet as hell and looked stock just with bigger pipes.

 

yea i definetly want that nice stock sleeper look, i'm going to paint the whole thing black to keep it low key.

I think ill bew getting the same kit. cept in a 2.5" aluminized. Doing a LCA dump just like what RedShift Motorsports does. mufflers that are pretty good for it are going to be from Magnaflow. sounds the BEST!

Magnaflow are nice. I loved mine, makes me want to redo my civic, i got a 2.5 with just a 12 inch resonator and its too loud, i want to do like I did with my DB, make everything look stock and quieter again. Get the magnaflow turbo muffler, you wont regret it.

I think mine was a offset/center and 24 inch.

 

if u want the stock muffler look u should check out Chase's K20 CRX. he's got a bad *** custom exhaust that u could maybe make or fabricate for your own liking

 

basically the exhaust stops in front of the lower controll arm instead of behind the car

 

can anybody else confirm this?
