Spotting dents with muticolored paint when sanding?
A guys just wondering if anyone has tips for spotting dents with muticolored paint. For example my car is like 4 different colors due to sanding, and I'm wanting to repair small dents and such in the process. Should i just guide coat small areas at a time?? just seems like alot of work.
TIA

when sanding with a car with a block dry or wet your old paint will work as a guidecoat.
Wet is better because you'll see the areas dull and the areas still shiny are the low spots.Areas that broke to bare metal are high spots.

Okay so you prime the whole car, what do you've to do in order to have the primer adhere??? Sand it !!!! So why not water sand the car with a block like 220 or 320 Wet, and you'll start to see all the imperfections pop up.Then 36 or 80 the low spots and throw filler??Block that out with 80 finish with 180 your edges on the bodywork prime the vehicle??Guide coat it and block with 400 dry then follow with 600 dry.And paint the vehicle??
