Bent wheel?

For some reason when i hit a certain speed i get a real bad shake. it feels like my wheel is falling off but there all tight. is there an easy way to check for a bent rim? or any other ideas of what it might be.

Have you had the wheels balanced?

You can visually inspect by putting the car in the air and rotating the wheels by hand. Did you hit some thing?

yeah it might be your wheel balance. Thats usally the prob.

no nothing that would cause it to bend like that

would a bad wheel bearing cause it to shake the whole car at a certain speed?

A bad wheel bearing would cause issues at all speeds. It usually causes grinding and squealing, but it could vibrate. Put the car in the air and give the wheels the shake test to check the wheel bearings.
