dash cluster help

Default dash cluster help

ok so i have a 91 crx with a b16a swap i am having a problem with my dash cluster nothing works speedo tach temp gas but here the tricky part when the lights are off there is an oil light and setbelt light on and gas reads full you turn on headlights and oil light goes off and gas drops to empty i have checked all fuses and from what i know all grounds i really need to get this fixed because it is driving me up a wall

you have it wired wrong man, take it to a honda dealer and have them fix it, I know you want to do it yourself but sometimes stuff has to be done professionally.

is it a different gauge cluster than the one you had in it originally?
check the pin layout. I had posted a link before, but I am unsure of where it was.

taking it to the dealer isnt really what this forum is all about.if you need help,provide all the info possible.what have you messed with that could be causing this.anything you have done electrical should be undone,then start over with proper pinout locations.

why would you suggest giving up on a project that he already started? he obviously wants to try and correct the issue. if everyone thought like you, honda-tech wouln't exist! noone would ever know how to do things by themselves. anyway, back to the op's question. did you have your cluster out at any time? if so, i'd check the plugs back there. how about the wiring harness under the dash, mess with that? or the enging harness, everything plugged in like its supposed to be? just some idea's here...

I used that ^ and the workshop manual to rewire my gauges correctly. Hope this helps.

sum1 tried putin an 88 or 89 cluster in it.. there different from 90 and 91.
