3k+ cold idle
1993 Civic Si, d16z6, no CELs. When it's any colder then about 40 degrees(F) outside my car idles at atleast 3000. It will slowly drop as the car warms up, usually within a couple mins it will be down to 1k and fully warmed up idle is about 500 or so. It's been doing this for a little over a year now and I've pretty much gotten used to it, but lately it's been annoying.
I've read a little online about the FITV and IACV, but I dunno where to start for a problem like this. Should I try cleaning the FITV? If so, how(lol)? What could the problem(s) be and how should I go about fixing them?

It's suppose to do that. Well, maybe not 3000RPM though. I'd clean the FITV. There's a link to a how-to on it in the FAQ section.
Seems that your FITV is doing its job but not doing it properly.
