As the title states I am wondering if the Greddy 31V intercoolers are efficient enough for 400whp.

not too sure.... i run the same intercooler on my sohc. I've heard mixed reviews, but i believe 400 is about the upper limit of what it can flow well.

going to dyno tomorrow.. we'll see. Pump gas and 20psi on a SOHC my guess is 350ish.

 

Those are good to about 400whp, but that is about the limit. The Type 24v is good to over 600hp. That would be a better choice if that is an option to you.

Greddy Tube and fin intercoolers do a very good job of being able make the power needed. They are also much lighter in weight than a louvered bar & plate intercooler. The only drawback is that they need a larger amount of surface area in order to do the massive cooling that louver-finned bar & plate intercoolers, that some other companies use.
