Default Radio "welcome" help

i tried searching so dont be mad if its a repost
but my girl has an 08 lx 2dr and we're trying to figure out how to change the "welcome" thing on the radio when you turn the car on..
i know its possible but i cant figure out out
please help....

im not sure if the lx has that feature but check your owners manual. it should guide you on 'how to''.

Yes, it's possible on the LX Coupe. Go to 8thcivic.com and search. They have a how-to on that.

Here it is:

To set your customized message do the following:
1: Make sure the audio system is off.
2: Push and hold the TUNE ****,then push the power/volume **** on the audio control panel. You will see the first letter blinking.
3: Turn the TUNE **** to change a letter
4: Push the top of the SEEK button to select the next segment, then turn the TUNE **** to select a letter. Repeat this procedure to set your message.

The system will return to the audio display about 5 seconds after you stop selecting a letter.

FWIR, it doesn't work on 4DR R18s, but things might have changed.

I used to have "passenger eject @" (then the time next to it of course). (although I forget how I made it fit because it didn't fit fully..maybe I just got rid of the first e in passenger idk lol)
