could be through your shifter??
have u replaced your shifter to a short shifter and taken off the rubber boot that divides the shifter and linkage? because before when i had a leak, even with mine on i think it comes through the shiftboot area from my headers connection to exhaust being loose

i have replaced the shifter with a short shifter a few years ago tho, i ordered a new exhaust coming tuesday so when i replace it hopefully it was the old exhaust that is causing thisr problem. maybe a gasket or a hole.
