Default need help with my poor man type r build

okay so this is going to be my first all motor build. i have a 00 civic hb. its my daily driver till i see snow. i want to be able to runs 13s or better all day. it has to be reliable. i need help picking the right parts


GSR bottom block
need help with rods and pistons and bearings


civic si b16 head
ported
kms valvetrain
dont know what cams to use?
head work is almost done


and of course i will tune after



what do ya n/a builders think about that set up? what things should i change? will this set up reach the goals im lookin to get? thanks

When it rains it pours....Whats with all these Poorman's R builds? Your like the 3rd one today and whats funnier is your post is nearly identical to the guy a few threads down. Are you the same guy under a different SN?
