Clutch stuck. Help Please

Default Clutch stuck. Help Please

i have a 1997 honda civic coupe. when i push down the clutch it gets stuck in the down position. i can use my feet to pull the clutch up but if i do this i'm still able to shift the gears. i don't know much about cars so i have no idea what is wrong. does anyone have an idea whats wrong?

It is either the clutch slave or master cylinder. If the leak is under the clutch pedal it is the master, if it is on the front of the engine next to the exhaust manifold it is the slave. If you don't replace it soon it will completely fail and leave you stranded...

usually when it gets stuck on the floor, the seals in the master are gone. it would behoove you to replace the slave along with the master. they usually go bad in pairs. or if you replace one the other faills.
