what harness? all of them I know have connectors. I think people cut and solder all the wires any way and make some longer too so im pretty sure they have to be cut.
im running all of my wires into the cab through the stock hole where the heater core lines used to be. my problem is i cant seem to come up with a way to seal the hole but still have is accesible when i have to unplug the harness. im looking for some kind of plug along the lines of this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=350166004425
as you see that plug can be attached on the firewall and go inside the cab, but on the other side i can attach my wires onto it and its on plug and be accesible

Yeah, just be careful if you're gonna cut the wires and re-solder them to extend...had a buddy who did a complete wire tuck like that and 3 weeks later had lights going out lol. Good luck with it.

If your talking your engine harness, most people take the harness out and re-loom it and drill a whole in the firewall where it wont be visible. PM someone like Chase or RyWire that make these types of Mil-Spec harnesses.

thats my build if you scroll down you can see what ive done so far with the harness and where the harness goes into the cab i dont want it like that so i need so kind of connector. ive seen a couple builds with what im looking for but i cant find them.

Just figure out what wires you need to get connected and get the Mil-spec connector that has the amount of leads you need buy that and should be easy after that.
