Hey I was wonderign how to install a CF hood. and how to take off the stock one. Also what do you have to do to install hood pins. For integra's do u have to do anything with the washer nozzles.

so simple their 4 10s bolts. First lift up the hood and put that one hood latch to make it stay. Its easier if you got a friend to help you so u can unscrew one side and he can hold the other so it doesn't fall back and hit ur windshield. Well its 2 bolts on either side their 10s I believe as for the washer nozzle. Mine wasn't attach to the hood so it was alright for me. I believe integra aren't attach to the hood. U would do the same as installin the cf hood as taking it off. Now to drill first put in the pins on the car use the factory hole thats there already. Then with a touch of grease put it on top of the pin and close the hood on top of it so it can have grease on the cf hood. Now thats where you would drill cuz thats your starting point. Once drill for the hole of the pin. Close the cf hood so that the hood pin would come threw. Then now all you gotta do is take the rest of the hood pin and line it up on top of the hole and screw in the bolts. Simple as that hope this helps. I got Sparco hoodpins btw. Duno which one you got.

alright thanks for the help. My hood is on the way It is the VIS CF hood. I think i am going to go with the sparco hood pins.
By the way does any one no how much the VIS CF hood weighs and how it compares to the stock hood.
