i need a cheap affordable sub/amp/ HU set up help me!
I'd like to upgrade my current sounds in my 1991 crx hf, I have decent front and rear speakers already with a Kenwood Flipflace tape player (
) ..
I need an AFFORDABLE quality flip face cd player. What would you guys recommend?
I'd also like to get some bass into my car, I was thinking 1 10 inch subwoofer.. What kinda amp would i want to get?
Understand this, i dont want to have the most "boomin" system on the block, i just want to add a lil umph into my sounds with some bass. Any advice is appreciated.

i'd suggest a small 4 channel amp. in the range of 25-50x4.... just be sure it (roughly) doubles its power into a 2 ohm load (most amps do)
amp and highpass your front stage, then bridge the rear channels to a sub (lowpassed)
id suggest a single sealed 12 or ported 10, or start with a single sealed 10 and if your happy stop there and if not then port it for a bit more output
also if you're happy with the look of your current deck id just add a cd changer. and also run bass blockers on your rear speakers.
if you do decide to go with a new deck just go for what you like... there arnt too many lemons nowadays. id just suggest you get something with 2 or 3 sets of preouts in case you ever want to upgrade in the future.
also what kind of front/rear speakers do you have now?
hope that helps a bit
