hi i started off with a 97 cx automatic, and now have swapped it over to a 5 speed and figured well im there misewell be doing a motor swap so now here i am the motor is installed in the car(was supposed to be plug n go)
but i have no clue on the wiring to use, the motor is out a 96 del sol DOHC vtec B16a2 with 5 speed tranny...
my 97 cx D16y7 is a one piece wire harness the del sol is two piece(eg chassis), So off some other guys post(Luserkid) i believed to use the ex engine wire harness off a 96-98(for the canadians means 96-98 si harness) i recieved my harness and it only has two plug ins off the ecu side of it(They must have cut one whole harness off or does the si only have two that plug into the ecu??? anywhere ive seen they all have three into the ecu!!) then the one that plugs into the chassis(green plug in.)(the 96-98 cx automatic one i cant use because it has 4 plug ins to the ecu, one being for the automatic),
So much for the plug'n'play harness that i was told to use for a less of a PITA of a motor swap..

Can anyone give me some insight on what engine wiring harness to use to plug n go(i already spent 500$ on a wiring engine harness that should have just came out of an airplane because it doesnt Fin work),
or can i splice two of the harness' together to make it work in the car, I absolutly fin hate wiring and am trying to do a nice quality of a job not all hacked up...
