can anyone tell me what i should have for oil pressure? or what is the best way to test oil pressure? certain rpms?

my oil light came on the other day, I have plenty of oil. i replaced the sensor and the light still comes on when the engine warms up.. leading me to believe my oil pump is failing...

so i went and bought a oil pressure gauge and im about to go hook it up.
