Default H22/Type-R 1/4 mile time

What is an accurate guess for a 1/4 mile time for an H22 swap in a stock 91 honda crx si on street tires and pump gas?

Same question for a Type-R

Keeping in mind that time's very on the driver but just want a close guess.

depending on tranny both motors are capable of low 14's on street tires.

High 13, low 14. Trap 100-103 MPH I'd say.

13's depending on driver. my friend has a eg hatch with a b18c5 and runs low 13's and catches no traction. and another friend ran a 13.5 on a stock gsr in a eg hatch so it depends

i had a 91 si with a gsr swap with the normal bolt on's i/h/e and some cams i ran a 13.9 at 109. that was on 205/50/15 toyo's that were about 1/4 tread no traction and my 60 foot sucked. but as you can see the mph at the end made up for some of it. if I would have had slicks or better tires it would have probably been around mid thirteens. all depends on driver, car weight, trans, tires, track, elevation, ect.... but as most are saying for stock with a good driver mid 13's to 14's is about average on a stock swap.

stock vs stock, h22 is quicker.

run on drag radials, the h22's torque will get you down the track faster than the type r.

depending on driver, mid to low 13's for the h22, mid 13's for the type r

I've seen some stock h22 rexes hit high 12's

x2 seems pretty acurate... your going to have anywhere from 15-20 more hp with the H22 and about 20 more ft lbs of torque. Torque is what makes ya quick... quite a few of our customers are running low 13's right at of the box.

read the rules and dont waste bandwidth with this **** please. Bench racing sucks. Do a swap, get slicks, get lots of time launching and learning to shift at the track where traction is good and then you will know whats its capable of. I understand you were just looking for an idea and i respect that, but one gets away with it and then the rest of my teenage friends will be on here with nothing but the same question but with different parts. I know im a dick, but im honest. Cheers!
