So I swapped all four brakes off DA and put on my EF. I also swapped booster and master cylinder. The booster was to big to fit so I had to remove my intake manifold DPFI to install booster. AFter I did tha t I replaced intake manifold gasket and bolted back up. After two days of working on this I started it up yesterday to test brakes. AS I was driving I noticed white smoke out of my exhaust and I could smell coolant. It was obvious that Coolant was getting into exhaust so the first thing I thought was blown head gasket, but when i looked on the passenger side of my intake manifold there was a big hole. Something goes there because i can see bolt inserts. Something bolts up to that. I dont remember taking any thing off of there, but if any one with a D15B2 or other D series motor can help that would be great. Let me know.

no see i already looked at that pic. see where the egr valve sits. well there is a similar opening next to the manifold on the right side if you look at the picture as it sits. do you still have stock motor in ur ef?

 

Nope.. i don't have the stock engine anymore.
This manifold doesn't have the EGR, but I think it shows the area which you are describing.

 

it is on that side but perspective is wrong. You are looking at it towards end that bolts onto head. not the side view as you have above
