What are your goals? Then go from there. Turbos will make more power.

It all depends on what you want.... Im JRSCing my car, but thats because I dont want a bunch of power, and I want a reliable DD... TUrbo? Not so much.

You live in Kalifornia, you want to stay CARB legal, you want the JR Supercharger.

The lower power output is made up by not having to deal with trying to bribe a smog tech, not having to deal with police impound of an illegally modified car (doesn't happen that often, but it can), and having good "around town" low end torque.

turbo = top end power.

s/c = low end power.

simple right?

now it just depends what you want to do with that power given. if you wanna drag and beat all the high horsepower cars out there like mustangs and whatnot, then get the turbo.

BUT im more into circuit racing, i stay away from drag strips... got too old too fast for me so i need that low end power for the in and out turns.

Someone has obviously never driven a VW/Audi 1.8T or 2.0T.

Full boost (and peak torque) at 1,850 rpm (1.8T), but falls of the torque plateau around 4,400 rpm.

Its all about turbo sizing.

Besides that, a Vortech supercharger only makes high end power. The joy of tying the blower RPM to engine RPM.

well my goal is trying to get above 220hp and to make it a DD. both jrsc and the turbo make good power well the turbo makes more and they are about the same price i havent seen alot of people on honda tech using a supercharge mostly people are using a turbo setup. is there anyway to run a intercooler with the jrsc ?

Where can i find the part 988-101 for the GSR jrs set up? i bought the charger used and it didn't come with this pulley bracket. it looks like it replaces the stock alternator bracket.

Im about to put a jrsc on my fully built all motor gsr i should have best of both worlds,
jrsc= carb leagal and great for dd and will accelerate with no lag!
turbo most likely not carb exempt more hp potential but theres turbo lag
