More info please, for example does the noise get louder as speed increases, when in neutral? In reverse? When you rev? Where exactly is the noise exactly coming from the front, the rear, etc.
it dont mater wat gear its in its the same around 2000-2500rpm. It has about 140k miles on it. and the noise sound like its comeing from the front of the engine

check your timing belt cover for scratch or scuff marks. if it has those, u may wanna get a new tensioner. or possibly just a new timing belt.
the rubber timing belt makes a rattle?
hmm new to me...
make sure its the front of the engine and it doesnt just sound like its coming from there. could be a lower heat shield. could be someting with the exhaust or a sway bar end just rattaling against someting else

yea, it does. if its losse it will rattle against the cover and make a oise at certain rpms. my buddy's civic we just swapped a b-18 into did it.
but v-teckfreeprelude right. the heat shield will make a noise similar. you just have to target exactly where your noise is coming from.
When I had this problem it was the header downpipe bracket where it attaches to the back/bottom of the block. Broken cats are also a common cause
