help bad clickin sound.
when i start up my car a sound sounds like its coming from my alternator. every rotation of the belt you hear the noise, if i step on the gas the noise goes fast. anyone have any idea what it is? new belt? timing? please help
new update now it really sounds like its coming from my cams and my head. when the cam gears rotate it makes the noise. do i need a valve adjustment help!

I would try taking off the alternator belt and see if that noise goes away, or not. What your trying to describe, doesn't sound like a lifter adjustment, it sound's more like either something got caught in the timing belt and is just making a noise, or something else, more serious is going on. If you still have the noise, I'd suggest pull the cover for the timing belt and if you can't find anything their, pull the valve cover, so you can find where that noise is being created.

How many miles on your motor since the last valve adj?
Or maybe the belt has dried up and a piece has cracked off it, leaving a gap --> noise...
