Default oil leak ...............help

Hey I got an oil leak that does not look like its from the head gasket but at the same time i can be wrong. Look at the pictures and tell me what it can be

Hmmm.....you might what to get some engine degreaser and hose this thing down. It can be anything really.
1. Cam seal could have gone bad
2. Gaskets on the valve cover could be bad

Have you tampered with anything cam related?

Try these before blaming the headgasket, very common leaks in that area:

1. Valve Civer Gasket
2. Cam Seal
3. Distributor O-Ring
4. Vtec Solenoid Gasket

I would replace all 4 of those at once since its hard to tell exactly where the oil comes from in that area. After replacing those, wash your engine off so you can tell if you fixed it or not!

This is your best bet and the gaskets aren't expensive nor are they that bad to replace.

If you clean it up a bit and then drive for a while you should be able to tell easier where it is coming from. That way you really wouldn't have to replace anything that didn't need it.

my guess is the cam seal.

mine is also starting to look like that.

LOL @ Oil pan gasket... it's on the bottom the the motor, not no where near the top.
