I have a 99 civic hatch cx model. i know that my car is an obd2b and was wondering what year gsr motors come in obd2b. i've looked around, but no one would help so im posting up on there to see if anyone knows or would help. i did a swap from 98 d16 (mini me) into my car which was an obd2a and i had alot of problems with it so i sold it and getting a gsr motor. if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

 

Every motor 1996 and up are obd2.

 

99 up would be obd2b

 

Just make sure that you get your year or newer engine if you care about smog checks.

 

the engine could be obd2a or obd2b doesnt matter. but the ecu has to be obd2b or get a jumper
