I'm new to this Hybrid stuff cause i drive a accord v6 so I dont know alot about Civic if you guys can help me out I would really appricated, Please dont Flame , but I just recently bought a 92 civic hatchback CX and my friend donated his 99 D16Y EX complete swap to me, I want to know if i can put this swap into my Hatchback cause i heard that the 99 engine was OBD2 and my car is OBD 1 so will this swap go into the hatchback easy or would there be alot of modification needed and what part do I need? I dont want to throw the 99 engine away cause I got it for Free. so any help would do...

You'll need to change the driver's side motor bracket and mount to your stock CX bracket and mount, then it will bolt right in. Pick up a 92-95 EX/Si P28 ECU, add the wiring for the VTEC solenoid, Pressure switch and convert to a 4 wire O2, then drive and enjoy.
