am i getting fuel if i have fuel psi?
i just did a mpfi swap and am not getting spark (witch i am trouble shooting)
but i was wondering if i am also not getting fuel?
i do not hear the hum when i turn the key on. If i turn it over then go and crack my fuel cap it will release pressure though.

taking lose the fuel rail while the key is on acc or run mode, see if fuel comes out there. If not check the power going to the pump. either by a test light or a volt meter. might want to check that first fuel can cause a fire??
yea thats brilliant. crack the fuel line open with the key in the on position and the pump still running. this test works just as well with the key in the off position. fuel pressure should still be in the lines if the pump is functioning.
your issue with the lack of spark i suspect may have to do with the two wires you ran into the engine bay from C1 and C2, that you connected to the new round mpfi dizzy plug. make sure also that you have the 2 white wires from the old square harness plug correctly moved over to the new plug. one wire is bigger than the other, and it is important that they return to the right position on the new plug.

It shows that you did not read the rest of the post! Last resort thing to do. How else are to check if fuel is getting all the way to the rail if the car is not starting. maybe the fuel filter is that colged. I have had it happen to me on a swap!

open up the gas cap and have a friend turn the key to the on position and you should hear the fuel pump. if not check the main relay. it should be under the dash on the driver side, kind of a big relay and jumper 1 and 7 at the connector, then if u hear the pump, then its your relay.
you guys know there is a service nut on the fuel filter that was made for pressure testing?
on the right, input, to the fuel filter, there is a 10?mm nut on top of the banjo bolt. It is made for bleeding fuel pressure before servicing the fuel system, and a fuel pressure guage or fuel pressure tester can be hooked up to the service connector. fuel bleeding out of the service hole means that you are getting some pressure, but you can test it for sure if you buy or have the test tool.
It really wont help if your injectors are wired incorrectly though, especially if you have your obd and resistor box usage mixed up.

No. The wires from the resistor box can go to any injector. The issue is making sure you are either:
a) using a resistor box with low impedance (obd0) injectors.
b) Not using a resistor box with high impedance (obd1+) injectors.
If you have those cases mixed up, then your injectors will not work properly.

The injectors are what you should be worried about. you can test the internal resistance of the injectors by using an ohm meter between the 2 pins of each injector. If it reads 3-5 ohms, you have low impedance injectors, and if they read 9-12ish ohms, then you have high impedance. The resistor boxes are all the same, so if you have low impedance injectors, you need a resistor box. If you have high impedance injectors, you do not need one.
if you have a resistor box then it is obd0. which means you need to be using obd0 peak/hold type injectors. if you're using obd1 injectors then you should not be using the box. if you are currently using the stock hf or si injectors from the mpfi intake manifold then you're fine and you don't need to mess with the box.
sohc zc.
just to make sure they are obd0 i will check the ohms and if they are high impedance i will drop in my obd0 LS injectors.
