adjusting the fuel pressure and fuel pump died?
Guys I tried adjusting the adjustable fuel pressure regulator in my 94 civic ex, pressure started going down and the car died, tried adjusting again but i didnt start, now im getting no gas so i think my fuel pump died.
is it possible that a very low fp could kill a fuel pump?

If you still hear your fuel pump prime when you put the key in the "on" position, it's not your fuel pump that went bad.
Questions:
A.) Why were you adjusting your fuel pressure?
B.) Was it with the stock "blind" regulator on the fuel rail?
C.) Have you taken the fuel pressure regulator off to see if it jammed up the fuel rail?
D.) What makes you think you didn't just overtighten it and keep adequate fuel from getting to the engine?
Go make sure none of these relatively simple issues is the reason for your problem before you start worrying about your fuel pump.

well, my fp gauge reads 0, I took the bolt off the fuel filter, turn ignition on, no fuel, crank it, no fuel.
i dont hear the fuel pump turning on.
but why would it die if i only adjusted the fpr

Well if you over adjusted the fuel pressure to high and the pump was weak it can cause it to give out. The bottom line is that your fuel pump isn't working so check the fuse under the dash to make sure it didn't blow and then check the pump and replace it if needed.

so you're saying that the pump will run but not pump any fuel? If that's the case then your pump is screwed and you'll need a new one. Don't worry about the fuse which is under your dash since your pump runs already which wouldn't happen if the fuse was blown.
