This one is for the FAQ, I hope
How does one properly reset the CEL?
In this case, a 91 CRX HF.
I searched HT, and other sites as well. =( It takes more than the ECU Fuse (15am under the hood)... Hazard fuse? =\
*edit*
Hazard Fuse for 10 Seconds as per the Honda Service Manual!
*/edit*
(This does not include pulling the battery. I would, but I have the stock radio, and do not feel like pulling it right now, losing radio presets, and I have to fix the climate control and cannot get into that now, etc)

two options.
Pull the negative battery terminal off for a couple minutes
Pull one of the fuses in the underhood fuse box for a couple minutes. Only problem is I can't remember which one
It's a 10 amp in my 90 Hatch

Ah. I pulled the ECU fuse (15amp) but it still remembered the code. The Hazard fuse I think serves as the memory for the ECU.
I'd just like this to be documented! I will try that, but the ECU fuse alone doesn't cut it.

that fuse is all you need to reset the computer. however, you might have not fixed the problem and that's why your cel keeps coming back... what codes are you getting.

The darndest thing is that now my CEL blinky LED (located in passenger foot well) is blinking without the paper clip, for the two codes mentioned (1 and 12, and 1 went away with the new o2 sensor from 2 months ago, and 12 went away with seafoam...). I need to replace fuel filter (this weekend!). See the other thread, this thread was just about resetting the code!
Hazard here I come!
