O2 sensor size?
I'm fixing a friends car and I just need to know what size the primary O2 sensor is so I know what size flare nut wrench to use. ANy help would be greatly appreciated to help expedite the process. Thanks.

Eh...this car sucks...throwing a 1167 cel at me. Autozone, Advance, and the like are asking between $200-$350 for a direct replacement for the primary O2. I searched a little and found a Bosch universal O2 sensor (PN#15730) for around $60-65. Some sites say it for primary and some others say the same exact sensor is for secondary.
Anyone have any incite or experience with this piece...or another inexpensive recommendation???

What car are you trying to fix? The RSX-S and EP3 use a A/F ratio sensor as the primary which is about $200-250. The secondary on the Ep3 is the part number you posted or this one Bosch #15733 which is also the same for 2001-2005 civic 1.7l secondary and primary(can't remember on the primary, I will double check this one for you tomorrow).

Bosch #13678 is the one they have llisted for the upstream O2 for the AT and it runs just shy of $250. Bosch #13680 is listed for the MT and it's like $170. WTF??? The only difference I can see is @ 6 inches of wiring for the pigtail...and 6 inches of wire don't = $100.
I kinda figured as much, but it's not my wallet. I told her she might have to bite the bullet on this one.
I was thinking if there was any interchangability between chassis like from an older EK or EM1 chassis primary I could use?
Thanks guys.

I just bought a denso primary 02 sensor 234-9004 on amazon.com for $150.48 bucks last night and is going to get to me by this thursday. This denso 02 sensor fits the 02-05 ep and the base rsx (don't know which years for the rsx though, too lazy to look up)

I haven't check other places for the rsx but for the ep3 02 primary sensor, amazon is the cheapest.
