BatteryFuse Blowing B20 Engine+B18C
Greetings Everyone,
i have one basic question.
I have an Acura Integra with a B20 Engine(B20 Block + B18C Head), ITR Cams, Skunk2 Injectors, Fuel Regulator,Among Other things that doesn't matter for this case.
The Point is, i had an overheating problem the other day, that turned very bad, had to change the cyl head gasket and correct the base of the head.
now, after that change, my battery fuse keeps blowing. the previous owner(i just bought it) told me to buy a 140A Jetta IV Fuse, but the top of the fusebox says very clearly that a 100A Fuse is to be used.
So, i bought a couple of 100A Fused, and No Luck. It Blows Inmmediatly.
i did a nice search for a grounded cable, or a misplaced cable, but no luck.
Should i try to use a 140A Fuse? or should i look for some problem?
THanks in advance.

something is wrong with the wiring somewhere in the car. if you put a bigger fuse in you run the risk of melting the harness
take it to someone with electrical experience and have them fix the car

Something important i forgot to mention, battery was reallocated in the trunk.
BTW I Called Previous Owner, he told he's been driving the car with that Fuse for long.

One Last Question,
under what circumstances would anyone need a higher amp battery Fuse?
Cause one of the things i know is that the previous owner had a good stereo system. but don't know the details.
here the fuse am talking about.

just throwing this out there cause it could possibly be your problem also... But my brothers did the same thing kept blowing battery fuse ... Mainly did it at night whenever he had the lights on ... It turned out to be the Alternator was going bad so it was having voltage spikes causing it to blow the fuse.. well hope that helps
I had the same problem in my 93 Integra w/B20-Vtec... turned out to be wiring problem with the alarm... A wire was stripped under the dash and shorting out on the metal plate under the steering wheel.. Check the wire that runs from the battery fuse out.. it's shorting somewhere probably on the block since it was after work was done.
