Is it possible to thread the shock body of Koni yellow?

You'd have to do it on a lathe with a threading tool, but i doubt the housing is thick enough to do it. I also have serious doubts about the diameters lining up considering a koni yellow insert is smaller than the factory shock body.

thx for the quick reply boiler....im gonna call koni and get specs for the 55mm and see what i can find out. Or maybe cut out the bottom of the stock strut housing and weld brackets on each side of the housing to hold the koni and lower its position when installed like so:

this might be more feasible but the integrity of the welds might be a concern for dd.....
