so i've been searching and read through a bunch of threads. some people say they leave a finger or two gap. others say no gap at all. i just wanted to get final answer. (i searched for the race springs, not the sports)

my plan is to match them up with tokico illuminas and tuck some tire. pictures would be nice. thanks guys

 

i would say about one finger, I just bought my HR springs Race and Koni yellows, ill post pic once im done wit the project.

 

is there a thread somewhere with pics of all kinds of suspension/ kits and what not?

 

mabey we should make one...a thread showing suspension set-up (spring or coilover)

Well I'll be the first to start I guess.

This is my 91 ef hatch with Koni Yellows and H&R Race Springs. This is with 16x7 Rotas on 205/40/16's. Have had them on the car for 2+ years. The ride is nice and smooth.







Don't hate on the pink wheels lol.

 

make sure you post how long it's been on our car...that way if someone is going to buy or just put a new set of springs or coilovers on, they'll know how low it'll be once it settles

I have nuespeed race springs (yellow) with kyb agx's and I have about a 1 finger gap all the way around and the car handles amazing

 

i meant starting one of those ***the official lowering kit on my ef thread*** kind of things. not just an open thread, noone would know whats inside if we did that.

 

on dropzone coils with agx shocks love the ride hate the stance (rears are lowered all the way down, front a little more to go)

agreed lets get an official thread going!

 

Pink wheels are Rota slips 16x7 as well as the Bronze Rota Circuit 8's. My buddy had the Slips because when he had traded his CRX i lent him my steelies to send with the car so he could keep his wheels, the guy he traded didnt like them lol.

H&R race springs usually slam integras and newer civics.... i'm disappointed to see the civic above still has gap in the front!!

anybody have any more pics of H&R race on ef / crx??

 

I'm pretty sure that Robb was running that setup on one of his red CRXs (and then crashed it later?)

 

here is some of mine on Tein drop srpings w/ Skunk2 sport struts then with skunk2 coilovers. im 12" from center of wheel to bottom of fender in the front and 12.5" in the back with the coilovers. 205-45-16 wheels
