Default Grounding or bad amp?

Well i have a 00 Accord coupe, Amp power on but has red light("safelight") try switching around ground cable on every metal screw but no luck.... what can it be?

try this

take the "load' off the amp (no speakers connected)
pull main fuse...wait a 1 then replace
turn on system

If light goes out...your speaker load is below what the amp can safely handle.
if light is still on..its toast.

yeah i would say it sounds blown
what kind of amp is it and whats hooked up to it

Not necessarily.
Do what audioroach said. Don't connect the load back though, turn it on first.

I cannot tell exactly what the problem is. It a problem in general. What kind of amp is it? Where did you ground your amp? Is the amp new, refurbish, second handed users?

Its a MTX Jackhammer 300watts hook up to a 12' mtx sub.. headunit pioneer. Yes, I am a secound owner previous show me it work. I ground it under the seat belt bolt.

Another question guys do i really need to hook-up the remote(blue wire) to the amp?

yes u need to hook up the blue wire. the amp dosent work without it.

That's the remote wire if I'm not mistaken. But yeah, hook it up.
