I just recently bought a 95 Ls the kid who had it before me said he swapped the hub on the pass..side but when I take off the car shakes like it has a flat tire I took the wheels off and looked around and tightend few bolts but I can't figure out what's wrong with it it only shakes when I give it gas any help will be cool thanks

 

outer tie rod my friends 98 teg did the same thing. just when he hit the gas made the front end shake bad like the tire gona fall off. g/l u shoulf jack up the front end and shake it down..

 

the pass side is new...well looks new and the nut is tight....

 

Possibly axles or hub bearing. My hub bearing was so bad that you could shake the wheels like crazy when it was in the air.

 

I agree, might be the axles. Mine vibrated only when accelerating too. Changed the axle and all is good. Check if the boot is ripped and if it has any grease inside.

When the wheel bearing is bad doesn't it make a noise? Like a grinding noise? I'm leaning towards the axle.

 

the pass side axel looks good all boots are intact...the driver side is the one that is ripped...could it be coming from that side then....and make it seem like its the pass side that is bad...

 

my axle boot was still intact but it was still bad . i replace it and it fix my problem

 

It could be, I remember a thread where someone thought it was one side but it was the other that was bad. Does it make a clicking sound when you turn?

 

no clicking sound when i turn just when i turn the wheel all the way to the left and turn slow sounds like the wheel is about to fall off ....well the bearing turns fine no rubbing or squeaky sound

 

Yea usually when the wheel bearing is bad your able to shake it back and forth without the tie-rods moving if its the ball joints then you'll be able to shake it up and down.....
but my $20 bet says its the C.V. axle cause I've had this issue twice in cars I brought...Load from the tranny= stress on bad axles = shakes like a bad leg trying to walk

 

All right fixed it...bought a new driver side axel and fixed the shaking the whole time I thought it was the pass side thanks too all of you my car no longer shakes thanks guys
