Default B18c5 JDM motor info

i am going to be putting a b18c type r in my 98 civic and i know how to do everything but i had a couple questions about the A/C. i want to use my a/c after the install but will i need to change any of the brackets. i have gotten a 100 different answers but the most logical seems to be that i will need an a/c bracket off of a 99 si, is this true?

I don't see why it would be narrowed down just to a '99 si'. If anything it should be off of a b16\b18C. .02

i would try using the 99-00 civic si one. Or if u can get a bracket from any integra with the compressor for less hassle.

Every one is dumb. I would use a Del Sol bracket or new SI only. Integra brackets are for integ a/c compressors which are different.

Yes, this is correct. You can also use the 94-97 delSol VTEC (only) bracket.

Like KinesisTech (Ryan) mentioned, the teggy brackets are only for Teggy AC compressors.

They are not interchangable. The AC lines mount differently from the Civic lines.
