Default CEL on but no codes in hondata s300

My cel is on even thou i dont have any codes in hondata. Anyone ever have this problem?

sometimes i throw a code that wont flash when u jump it but if you veiw your codes on hondata smanger it will show a overheating code... Hope this helps

what color is the light on the inside of the ecu ? If i remember correct it sould be green until you hit the log bottom then it transistions red and green. If its fed then there maybe a problem with the installation.

single cam mitch


At the moment my s300 is tellin me that I am overheating yet i have another water temp gauge and the temp is fine....I am also throwing a CEL light.


Any explanation?

What is your water temperature reading while datalogging ?

my water temp shows me around 96 celcius at highest maybe 97

i do not know...i no that NOTHING was changed in the hondata...

i swapped a b20vtec into my car...took my b18c out.

when i plugged everythin back in...i contine to get a ECT code...yet all sensors are plugged in

the pronblem was my water temop sensor plug was loose...well the connectors are loose
