b20 swap throwing out CEL
just finished my b20 swap in an ek today and daym im enjoying it one problem its throwing out CEL and they are 41 and 54 which is 02 sensor and CFK. which o2 sensor do i use and how do i solved this CFK code. i researched but i dont know ewhre is this plug located. im using a 96 integra ecu which is OBD2-a so does that mean i have to do this CFK trick thing on in wiring harness ...... please help
thanks so how would go about in correcting this CEL if it doesnt even have a CFK while the ecu is thinking there is? well its throwing out code 41 and it says primary o2 sensor and one more question i forgot what a/c compressor will mount onto a civic si a/c bracket

isnt the cfk located within the dizzy? Iam 99% sure either ckp or ckf either are in the dizzy, yes you would assume it is by the crankshaft, but ckf actually senses fluctuation and as I said Iam near certain its in your dizzy as I had a problem myself with either one of these sensors I just cant remember which as its been years!
yeah thats the trick i was asking about but i wasnt too sure ....... how do i get rid of the 02 CEL becasue the obd2 ecu will be looking for the other o2 sensor

okay today i had an idea since obd1 ecu uses one o2 and doesnt have any signal for the CFK i tried it out nad next thing u know bam no CEl but yet sometimes the car's idle is so low that it dies out.....what is wrong what ecu should i use
so does anyboyd know what ecu should i use ...and oh yeah is there a difference between an auto and manual ecu becasue what im using is a auto ecu and it has that idling problem could this be the one thats causing the idle problem becasue its for an auto integra
Any obd1 ecu will work fine, as long as its chipped and you get the car tuned for your setup. Non-vtec ecu's can have vtec components added and auto ecu's can be converted to manual easily.
Yeah, I'd say your problem lies in the fact that you're using an automatic ECU instead of a manual one. Why would you even consider that?
Also, you can raise and lower the engine's idle speed with a screw on the throttle cable--it may be mounted on the intake manifold. If all cylinders are firing and are in time then try simply raising the idle speed.
But you should probably get a manual ECU or convert the one you have.

just use an obd1 p75 ls ecu and it will make it run perfect because that ecu is a little too rich for the ls so it will be almost perfect for the b20.
alright ill stick to this one until i find a standard ecu....but there is a differencce in redline between the two right whats the redline on the b20?
people put in ARP rod bolts and spin past 7000 pretty commonly. The motor isn't going to make power that high stock though so its kind of pointless. Even with boltons and a tune peak torque won't be so high although then 7k would probably be useful but people who spin these motors to 8k are just making noise and hurting the thing
