I bought some stuff from a kid and he gave me some Crower GSR cams i've been told that GSR cams will suit a turbo B16 with this setup better than the stock items, any of you guys have any experience or knowledge on this? also what is a suitably starting point to set up my cam gears for a turbo setup i was thinking something like +2Deg on exhaust and -2Deg on intake to remove some overlap any comments plz?
Are the stock GSR cams or are they crower cams? If they are crower cams they will say it in between the lobes and a number will be etched at the dizzy side of the cam. Yes GSR cams in a b16 make a considerable amount of power over the stock b16 cams. this is covered in Jeff Evans site. Gives pretty good power gains throughout specially in the midrange.
not to hoard this post . but would type r cams from an integra work better than gsr cams . i have both sets which are better for forced induction on a stock b16a .
