what cat-convertor do i need???

Default what cat-convertor do i need???

thinking about getting this for a 93 vx hatch... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93...Q5fAccessories

i have a gsr engine in it with a obx r 4-2-1 header. what cat-convertor do i need? one from a dc2 teg? or like a ex civic?

All that changes is length, but i think it would be safe to get the cat that would originally go with your body style. That said, do you have a custom exhaust? (not after market, but fabricated)

no i have the stock vx exhaust well header back. its like an inch and 1/2 it's tiny and my gsr motor is not happy with it.

wait, what is a 1/2" away? If your down tube to cat are that close together, just move the exhaust back a little, i'm sure there is room on the exhausts hangers no? Alternatively, use an exhaust flange as a space to bridge the gap, should be able to pick one up at local auto stores, or an exhaust shop. (but use it somewhere else along the exhaust, not at the downtube|cat)

go measure the gap between the header and midpipe, and then go on summitracing.com and look at magnaflow direct fit cats for integras and civics. the lengths are listed. find the one that is the length you need.
