Need a little help
Alright ill give u a fast run down on the situation. my brother wanted another civic so found a 99 ek shell for 700. Not bad right? well the car use to have a remote start and the owner b4 started it while it was in gear. It ended up hittin n to a back of a truck bending the rad support n the fender support. We got basically everything lined back up but the pass side was a little off. So we hit up the junk yard with my drill and spot weld drill bit and got the peice we need for 15doll hairs. Now the real question is how do i remove the old peice with out fully drilling thru the peices? and if i happen to is it a easy welding fix?

and this is how its off the rest is find just the front of the hood is whats not lining up

P.S: DONT MIND THE ZIP TIES HOLDING THE HEADLIGHT UP ITS BROKEN AND JUST USED AS A MOCK UP FOR NOW

your going to remove the bent one just like your junk yard piece.dont drill through the panel.underneath.when you get the bent one off.grind the dimples off with a grinder and a flap wheel.install your new part.when satisfied with the fit.weld through the holes and fill flush with the top part.grind the welds flush and your done.

you will want to use your spot weld cutter to remove the parts that are spot welded to the under laying panel.yea you could get the majority off with your cut wheel.
