Hi I was wondering if anyone knew, if there was a difference in the internals of the b16 dizzy. Sorry if that was short I'm on my cell can anyone help. I know the plugs are different caz two wires are backwards.

so i went and got a obd1 b16a dizzy and bolted it up. it was used from a jdm store, the cap was broken where one of the wires plugs into. he said i could use my old cap and put it on the new dizzy. DIDNT even fit. i turned to my gf integra and looked at the cap, it was a match. i quickly threw it on my set up. went to start it and got 3 different codes. code 4 14 and 9. it wouldnt rev over 3grand. so i guess obd0 and obd1 b16 are different other than the plug.

 

OBD1 and OBD2 are basically identical internally. OBD0 however is different.
