Default Engine Damper installation

i have a 95 civic with a d16z6. i am trying to install my enigne damper, which is made by NRG. i thought that it bolts up to the chasis and your motor mount. i found the part where it goes to the chasis but am having trouble with the motor mount part. the two holes on the mount look as if it is supposed to mounted to a different part of the motor. i am asking for anyone with pics of theirs installed or any input from anyone that has dealt with this product.

Didn't you get instructions with them? If not can we get a pic of what you have, and the engine itself. We may be able to figure it out by looking at the damper.

I think it attaches to a bolt on the engine.

would you happen to know which bolt?

i did get instructions but it only tells me how to adjust the pre-load. it came with 1inch pics of some set ups but they are blurry and in black and white, so i cant really see where it connects to the motor. I am currently working on uploading some pics.

this is the bolt on the motor that i think it will bolt up to. would this even improve traction? its just reinforcing the mount.

i know you can barely see it but this is a normal civic mount, i had a z6 in my si but it has the mount with the 2 studs. not like the ex / gsr mount.

the mount is wrong, if you can get a motor mount out of a gsr. thats what i used. that damper bolted to my mount by the top end of the block if that makes any sence to you

so if i am comprehending this right. you guys are saying that the mount on the damper is made for a non ex motor mount. since my motor is an ex then ill have to change out that motor mount. i thought that all d series mount were the same.

your saying that you have the same exact damper that i have. and all you did was switch out that motor mount to a gsr side mount and it all bolted up right.

***i looked at your bottom link my set up looks just like the pic labeled del sol b16. its just that the holes dont line up correctly for the motor mount.***edited

Heres a pic of the mount that i think goes to the motor mount. number 1 goes to the damper and two and three go to the motor mount or somewhere on the motor. number three is about an inch higher than number two. this is why i find it hard to believe that it bolts up to my side motor mount.

Why does the damper even attach to the mount? Honestly, that doesn't seem to make sense. Can anyone testify that these even do anything cause I thought they went to the firewall.
