i got a 95 sohc v, just did oil change and now the car blows white smoke out the exhaust.... why is it doing that????? any info would be great... my friend changed oil with 5w30 full synthetic..... could this have been the culprit?????

White smoke is burning coolant, this means a leaking head gasket.

 

Is the smoke actually bluish? if so, you are burning oil.

 

I suspect that the smoke isn't actually white, and the synthetic oil is seeping past your valve seals and burning a little. Try using some Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer (make sure to get synthetic, and make sure to drain a little oil so that you can put it in, otherwise you will have too much oil)

Forgot to mention... it comes in a HUGE bottle. Don't use all of it. Follow the instructions.

Oil drain/refill capacity is like 3.5 quarts. The combination of the Lucas stuff and the Oil should not exceed the max line on your oil dipstick.
