Just my opinion, but it doesn't look very solid. I can't figure out how that will be bolted to the car. Are those thin metal pieces at the ends supposed to stiffen your chassis? Doesn't look like there is any good spot for jacking up the car either.

I would save up and buy a real one from other proven manufacturers.

They bolt up to the tow hook bolt holes......LOOK at it.....
It's the cheap chinese made version of the old etd bar.....it will 'work' if you keep a
welder around.

I have the ETD racing traction bar and I had to modify it so it would work. This style of bar only bolts up where the tow hooks go. It's a bad design because the bar will move back and forth no matter how tight the bolts are. The only way to keep the bar from moving would be to have it bolt up from the bottom like the original cross member did. I made mine work by welding plates to the sides that will bolt up from the bottom. I have not broke anything and I have 10,000 miles on it so far. I have used only street tires and no slicks. I will post a picture later when I get home. Hope this helps.

My ETD bar came with brackets that bolt where the stock crossmember went and then bolts to the traction bar. Maybe you have the old design but i dont see how mine could move.

I know what you are talking about. The "new" design is the same as mine but they give you a small tab. I don't see how that small tab would make a difference. When you hit the brakes, the wheels pull the bar back with all of the weight of the car multiplied by the speed at which your car is traveling when you are stopping. That is a lot of force. I don't regret buying this bar but I would not buy an ETD bar for an ef ever again.

This bar can be made to work. This is what I did. It's not pretty but it works. In the last pic, you can see rust where the paint was rubbed off from when the traction bar was moving. Every time it moved it would pop loud, that's when I knew something was wrong. I would just save my money and buy a better bar. One more thing, this bar hangs pretty low so it would not be good for a dropped car. Hope this helps.

Yeah the bar does hang pretty low but my jdm 4 to 1 header is my lowest point. The bar could be greatly improved with the addition of shouldered bolts to minimize movement.
