Info On Engine Just Purchased.. D15B...Mods, Keep it alive
Ok, so I bought a 95 D15b and the thing that really sucks is that it is not imported so the shop(Honda&Acura Parts, Chula Vista)doesn't know how many miles or anything. Obviously it has a warranty on it so if anything is wrong with it it's on them at there expense. I bought a new water pump and timing belt, along with some other things like manifold gasket, valve seals. I don't know the specs on it. It was the only motor that I could afford and my engine was a D16Z6. I want to know what else I should do to make sure that it runs well. I also would like to know if this engine is worth modifying if it is possible to make this motor faster.. Was this a good decision in your opinion obviously... Thanks

By the way I have a cold air intake for a I believe 99-00 carb legal that i would like to trade for a cold air 95 carb legal. It's a CP, the only thing it doesn't have is that nub thing I just covered it with alum tape.
is this a JDM d15b Vtec? because if it is it runs good and its prettyy fast.. its just like the d16z6 if not faster. the d15b are more aggressive.
YEah It's the JDM.. But I don't know anything and What small things or inexpensive things can I do to make it DO WORK....
