Default Good jack for lowered car?

I dont want to spend a lot but I need a good jack that will lift my 2 inch lowered integra. This SHOULD be an easy search, but the new search function is a useless pos.

The good thing is, most jacks state their minimum lift height on the box or in the ad, so the first thing you need to do is to measure how much clearance you need.

The other thing you need to consider is how you're going to be using it. If you plan to travel with it to autocross/track events, you probably want a smaller, lightweight unit. If you plan to use it only in your own garage, you can use a bigger, heavier unit without problems, and the larger size translates to greater stability. Another factor to consider is the number of pumps to raise the car; the fewer pumps, the quicker it raises, but it may require more effort. And the longer the handle, the less force it requires for each distance raised. Of course, price is always a consideration as well. You can buy a cheap jack for $20-30, although they typically require 5" of clearance or more, which might not be low enough for your car.

Since I bring mine with me to track events, including one car where space is at a premium, I need a smaller, lightweight jack. I got one of these from Harbor Freight (click on photo for more info) and it has worked fine for me. It weighs 24 pounds and minimum lift height is 3", which is probably low enough for your car (although again, just measure it and you'll know exactly how much you need). Currently $90, although the price goes up and down from time to time.

Try searching in the Road Race / AutoX forum, there are a few threads about jacks.
