Default Aem short ram intake ITA trouble

Ok so I recently installed an aem short ram intake fit great no issues except my air tempter sensor just makes it to the hole on the side of the pipe. I was wondering if any one else had this problem. Because under load when the engine torques it slow starts to wiggle out the sensor did I install it wrong. This was my first mod I ever did and the car runs fine and it went in fine.

nah, mine did the same thing. it just wasn't meant to be. you can do like i did and lengthen the wires or possibly try to pry on the port a little bit and bend it down to help ease the pressure a lil. all it will do it throw a CEL which can be fixed once u put the sensor back in and restart the car.

you can also get a piece of silicone hose and clamp it to the port then put the sensor in the other end of the hose and clamp it in there and problem solved

Cool man thanks argg I hate wiring but I got a buddy up at honda that could probably help but so far I like it so hmm will see how it goes. There is only two wires did you remove them from the back of the sensor and then then just add on to the end or did you just cut it and splice it in?

i De-pinned the plug and lengthened them then re-installed them from there. i actually wet to the junk yard and got the same sensor and cut the same color wire and all but I'm sure you know you don't have to go to that length lol

I've run the car with the sensor out of the port but plugged in for a while. Not on purpose, and I can't remember why, but it didn't throw a CEL. Granted, that's not the way to run the car long-term and it will affect performance, but hey. Just throwing that out there.

O no I check it every time I drive the car and it only starts to come out when I push it. But I'm going to extend the wires today thanks for all the help.
